(Defense News) Barbara Opall-Rome - Israel's Rafael Ltd. is developing ship-based versions of Iron Dome, the system that has scored more than 1,200 operational intercepts since its initial deployment in 2011. Dubbed C-Dome, Rafael said the system aims to defend offshore patrol vessels, corvettes and other small ships.
