(IHS Jane's) Yaakov Lappin - The Israel Defense Forces is prioritizing tunnel warfare training as part of the lessons learned during the recent conflict with Hamas. The IDF Ground Forces have begun building a number of training centers designed to simulate subterranean warfare. Lt.-Col. Dotan Druck said the new training centers simulate spaces where soldiers must fire while kneeling, lying, or standing in enclosed spaces.
