(Jerusalem Post) Sharon Udasin - On Wednesday, natural gas accounted for 57% of the country's electricity consumption, the Israel Electric Corporation announced Thursday. Ever since natural gas from Israel's Tamar reservoir began to flow in March 2013, there has been a considerable change in the fuel mix for the country's electricity production, with a major reduction in the use of polluting fuel oils.
