China Buys Israeli Food Conglomerate Tnuva

(Times of Israel) Lazar Berman - The Chinese government's Bright Food Group, China's second-largest food company, bought a controlling stake in Israeli dairy conglomerate Tnuva on Wednesday for $2.5 billion. Tnuva, which controls more than 70% of the dairy market in Israel, started out 80 years ago as a cooperative owned by kibbutz dairy farmers.
