Lawyers Arrested for Passed Messages to Hamas Prisoners

(Ynet News) Noam Dvir - Two law office managers and four lawyers from east Jerusalem were arrested on suspicion of abusing their attorney-client privilege by passing messages between Hamas prisoners and the organization's operatives in Israel and abroad. The lawyers passed messages about Hamas military operations, political topics, and hunger-strike efforts, and transferred funds for the prisoners. One of the messages from a Hamas explosives expert directed terrorists outside the prison on how to execute a number of attacks. Other messages dealt with ways to handle collaborators with Israel.
