PA: Palestinian, Israeli Negotiators No Longer Meeting Directly

(Jerusalem Post) Direct talks between Israel and the Palestinians have been frozen, chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat told Al-Quds Al-Arabi on Sunday. "Meetings are now taking place between the U.S. administration and us, on the one hand, and between Israel and the U.S. administration, on the other hand," Erekat said. He also said none of the security ideas offered by the U.S. were written down, but rather expressed verbally.
