(National Public Radio) The water level of the Sea of Galilee has dropped almost 20 feet in the past four years. The lake provides a third of Israel's fresh water. In response, Israel's Water Commission decreased the amount of water available for agriculture by a third. Three water desalinization plants are planned, one of which is already under construction.
