(Jerusalem Post) Ben Hartman and Lahav Harkov - Uganda has agreed to accept thousands of African migrants to be deported from Israel. Uganda will also allow migrants to use its territory as a transit point to return to their home countries or go elsewhere. Interior Minister Gideon Sa'ar explained that migrants "are not refugees....This is purely economic migration." Sa'ar promised that the illegal migration will end. "We are humanitarians, we follow international law, but we are also committed to protecting Israel as a Jewish and democratic state."
