(University of Alabama Crimson White) Andrea Brunty - With the symbol of a dove and a peace branch flying between an American flag and an Israeli flag, Alabama Friends of Israel began their existence as an organization at the University in September. With 10 to 15 active members and 75 students on their e-mail list, AFI has developed greatly in its first few months. The members range from Jewish to Southern Baptist.
