(Jerusalem Post) Khaled Abu Toameh -The head of the Palestinian Authority's General Intelligence Service in the West Bank, Gen. Tawfik Tirawi, has admitted that his men were responsible for the 1996 kidnapping and killing of several Palestinians suspected of selling land to Jews. Until a few months ago, Tirawi was part of a Palestinian security team that met with IDF officers on a regular basis to work out joint security arrangements.
