(Jerusalem Post) - The Houston consulate, which serves communities in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and New Mexico, is one of 10 embassies and consulates the Foreign Ministry plans to announce on Sunday that it is closing as a cost-saving measure. Israel's consulate in Sydney, Australia, is also slated for closure.
