Lebanese Arrest Two Palestinians in UNIFIL Attacks

[AFP/Daily Star-Lebanon] Lebanese authorities have arrested two Palestinians in connection with a roadside bombing that targeted UN peacekeepers in Qassimiyeh in southern Lebanon on July 16, a security official said Thursday. Salem Kayed and Ahmad Mohammad, who are suspected of belonging to Jund ash-Sham, an extremist Sunni group, were arrested on Wednesday near Ain al-Hilweh. "The two men admitted their role in the attack," the official said.
