Finance Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Sunday, "No one wants to rule the Palestinians, but Palestinian sovereignty over all the West Bank's territory would be a double mistake." The best situation, he added, would be with Palestinians in full self-governing capacities, but stripped of all powers to harm Israel.
