U.S. Asks Iran to Crack Down on Al Qaeda

(New York Times)- Administration officials are deeply concerned about intercepted communications strongly suggesting that al Qaeda leaders in Iran played a role in directing the bombings in Riyadh. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said: "There's no question but that there have been and are today senior al Qaeda leaders in Iran. And they're busy."
