(Ha'aretz)- The Palestinian Legislative Council confirmed Abu Mazen as prime minister and approved his cabinet Tuesday in a 51-18 vote. In Washington, the White House welcomed the vote and said President Bush would soon unveil an international "road map" to peace to Israeli and Palestinian leaders, "either Wednesday or Thursday."
