Artificial Islands Off the Gaza Coast

(Jaffee Center-Tel Aviv University) Shmuel Even, Shlomo Gartner, and Dov Kehat - The construction of artificial islands off the coast of the Gaza Strip could provide a solution to the problem of population density there and contribute to a resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian territorial dispute. A series of artificial islands could absorb approximately 400,000 people (one-third of the current population in the Gaza Strip).
