(New York Times) - Carlotta Gall American special envoy to Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad said Monday that it was unacceptable that members of al Qaeda and the Taliban were chased out of Afghanistan only to be given sanctuary in Pakistan's tribal areas, where Qaeda members are present.
