(New Zealand Herald) In his book Inside al Qaeda, Dr. Rohan Gunaratna says more strikes were planned for September 11. Terrorists were at Heathrow airport ready to board planes for a suicide attack on Britain's Houses of Parliament, but in the wake of the U.S. attacks earlier all flights were grounded. Gunaratna is a research fellow at the Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence, St. Andrew's University, Scotland.
