(London Times) Reviewed by Tim Read - Former Bush White House speechwriter David Frum lifts the lid on the ideological battles over the best way to pursue a war on terrorism. Rather than describe the ideological split between Gen. Powell and Mr. Rumsfeld as one between "doves" and "hawks," Frum prefers the analogy of the Civil War: between those who wanted to fight the smallest possible war, and those who desired the biggest possible victory.
