Israel Sends More Medics to Border with Syria

(AP) Josef Federman - Israel's military says it's beefing up medical teams along the border with Syria following several cases of wounded Syrians crossing the frontier to seek medical assistance. A military official said on Thursday there have been "numerous incidents" in recent months in which wounded Syrians arrived for first aid from Israeli medics. 11 wounded Syrians were taken and treated at Israeli hospitals, including one who died from his wounds on Wednesday. Others returned home after their condition improved.
