(AP) Israel's Elbit Systems on Wednesday said its C-MUSIC system to protect commercial passenger jets against shoulder-launched missiles has proved effective in a number of tests involving a Boeing 707 aircraft. Elbit says the new system can be applied to any aircraft. It integrates advanced fiber laser technology with a thermal camera to protect against missiles.
