(Times of Israel) Stuart Winer - The heavy rain that poured down on Israel this week added 69 cm. to the level of the Sea of Galilee, Israel's largest source of fresh water, the Israel Water Authority said on Thursday. The lake will continue to rise by dozens of cm. due to melting snow after parts of the Golan Heights and the Galilee received over a meter of snow in the last several days.
