(Washington Post) Carol Morello - As many as 400 people were killed in Syria on Saturday, including in a massacre in Deir Balbah, outside the city of Homs. Walid Faris, a spokesman for the Revolutionary Council of Homs, said government troops rounded up 150 to 180 people and took them to a petrochemical university where they were executed.
