Israeli Lessons for Indian Agriculture Sector

(Himalayan Times-Nepal) Two Israeli scientists are in India teaching techniques in greenhouse cultivation to help increase agricultural production by over 50%. Mashav, a branch of the Israeli foreign ministry, has sent teams to promote drip irrigation and new technologies in greenhouses among the small farmers in South Africa, Namibia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, and elsewhere.
