(Ha'aretz) Arnon Regular - Senior Palestinian figures decided Thursday that the Palestinian Legislative Council would convene shortly after Arafat's departure and speed legislation to transfer power to Abu Mazen by virtue of his role as secretary-general of the PLO's Executive Committee, the highest ranking position in the PLO after Arafat.
