Palestinians Oppose Mutual Recognition of Identity Even After Peace Agreement

(Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research) According to a joint Israeli-Palestinian poll conducted by the Truman Institute at Hebrew University and the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research in Ramallah, 54% of Palestinians oppose mutual recognition of identity as part of a permanent status agreement and after all issues in the conflict are resolved and a Palestinian state is established, while 62% of the Israeli public supports such a mutual recognition.
