Israeli President Visits Austria

(AFP/Yahoo) Israeli President Moshe Katsav laid a wreath at the former Nazi concentration camp Mauthausen during the first-ever visit by an Israeli head of state to Austria. Katsav's trip ends four years of frosty relations with Austria since Israel withdrew its ambassador after the far-right Freedom Party (FPOe) of Austrian nationalist Joerg Haider, who has been attacked for making anti-Semitic comments, joined the ruling coalition.
