IDF Using Radar to Warn of Incoming Palestinian Rockets

(Ha'aretz) Amnon Barzilai and Yuval Yoaz - The IDF has begun using technology that affords Sderot residents a 15 to 20 second warning of an incoming Kassam rocket fired by Palestinians from Gaza. According to the Israel Police, 101 Kassam rockets have been fired at Sderot so far this year. Thirteen were the upgraded Nasser 3, which has a longer range and larger warhead.
