(Jerusalem Post) Judy Siegel-Itzkovich - Multinational cosmetics firm L'Oreal and UNESCO have named Weizmann Institute biologist Dr. Naama Geva-Zatorsky as "Europe's top young researcher" for her work in researching probiotics (beneficial bacteria) to treat disease. Her work aims at using "good bacteria" to treat diseases from gastroenterological disorders and diabetes to immune disorders and cancer.
