Israeli-Made Processor Responsible for 40 Percent of Intel's 2011 Sales

(Times of Israel) David Shamah - The Intel Sandy Bridge processor, developed in Israel, was responsible for 40% of Intel's sales worldwide in 2011. Intel has invested $3 billion in preparing its Kiryat Gat facility to manufacture the new 22-nanometer Ivy Bridge processor. Intel Israel had $2.2 billion in exports in 2011.
