U.S. Freezes Terror Group Funding

(Ynet News) Yitzhak Benhorin - According to a recent report submitted to Congress, the U.S. Treasury froze assets and accounts in the U.S. in 2011 belonging to terror organizations worth some $21.1 billion. This included $5 million belonging to Hizbullah, $2.5 million for Hamas, and $63,000 linked to Islamic Jihad, as well as $13 million belonging to al-Qaeda.
