Israel's Unemployment Rate at 32-Year Low

(Ha'aretz) Moti Bassok and Ruth Schuster - Unemployment in Israel in 2011 fell to its lowest level since 1978, averaging 5.6% of the adult workforce, compared with 6.6% the year before, according to the latest figures from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The number of people officially considered "unemployed" and actively seeking work fell by 14% from the year before.
