(Israel Defense Forces) The Protector unmanned surface vehicle (USV) is an Israeli-developed vessel, 9 meters long, that can reach a speed of 57 mph. Deployed by the Israeli Navy since 2009, the highly accurate, stabilized weapon station has excellent hit-and-kill probability using various small caliber guns. It can gather intelligence, take part in naval warfare and act as an anti-terror protection force.
