(DPA-Ha'aretz) Hamas called on the Palestinian Authority Monday to boycott peace talks with Israel. Israeli and Palestinian negotiators are to meet in Amman, Jordan, on Tuesday under the auspices of the Middle East Quartet in the first public face-to-face parley between the sides in 15 months. Expectations are low that the meeting will lead to a breakthrough.
