(Institute for Science and International Security) Paul Brannan - A large explosion occurred on Nov. 12, 2011, at an Iranian military compound near Bid Kaneh. Satellite imagery shows that most of the buildings in the compound appear extensively damaged. Iran was apparently performing a volatile procedure involving a missile engine at the site when the blast occurred.
