(AP/San Francisco Chronicle) - The Israeli military is equipping its anti-smuggling patrols on the Israel-Egypt border with camels, that can go where jeeps, trucks, and even tanks can't. The IDF has rented camels from a firm that usually hires them out to tourists, the soldiers' weekly Bamahane magazine reported.
