Bush Extends PLO's Right to Keep Washington Office

(Reuters/Ha'aretz) President Bush Wednesday extended for another six months the right of the Palestine Liberation Organization to keep offices in Washington. The White House said it wanted to allow a Palestinian presence in the U.S. capital in order to "maintain its ties and contacts" with parties in the hope of pursuing talks toward peace in the Middle East.
