U.S.: Middle East Reform Cannot Wait for Peace

(Reuters) - U.S. Undersecretary of State Marc Grossman, on a Middle East tour, said on Tuesday Washington's Middle East democracy plan should not depend on a settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. "The effort for reform and the effort for dignity and the effort for individuality in Arab countries does not have to wait until there is a full peace," he said.
