(Maarivenglish.com) Eliel Shahar - Manel Bahar, daughter of PA premier Abu Ala, has officially requested Israeli citizenship. She is married to a Palestinian doctor, a resident of east Jerusalem. Her father's home is in Abu Dis, which is not included in the city's municipal boundaries. An Israeli ID makes it much easier to cross over between Israeli- and Palestinian-controlled areas.
