(Ha'aretz) Amos Harel - An Israeli reservist was shot dead Thursday by Palestinian gunmen who opened fire near the Erez crossing between the Gaza Strip and Israel. The gunmen were killed after an exchange of fire. The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, linked to Arafat's Fatah movement, claimed responsibility.
