(Maariv) Eliel Shahar - The U.S. will not approve Israel's annexing land on the West Bank or resettling Gaza settlers there as part of Prime Minister Sharon's plan to evacuate the Strip, said Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom Wednesday. According to Shalom, the U.S. is insisting that the withdrawal plan be implemented as part of the road map proposed by President Bush.
