(AP-MSNBC) Matthew Lee - The Obama administration is scrambling to keep ties between U.S. allies Israel and Turkey from deteriorating further. Senior American diplomats, including Secretary of State Clinton, are working with both countries to "de-escalate" and "defuse" the crisis, the State Department said Tuesday. Clinton discussed the matter at length with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu last Thursday in Paris.
