[Jerusalem Post] A Palestinian gunman opened fire at an IDF checkpoint east of Tulkarm on Thursday and was killed by troops who returned fire. The terrorist, armed with an AK-47 assault rifle, had approached the roadblock by car and was wearing an explosives belt.
