U.S. and Israel Sign $50 Million Agreement on Scanning Equipment for Crossings

(USAID/ReliefWeb) The U.S. and Israel signed an agreement last week to provide state-of-the-art scanners and other inspection equipment to facilitate the passage of people and goods at crossing points between Israel and the West Bank and Gaza. The U.S. Agency for International Development will finance $50 million to purchase, deliver, and install the devices at crossing points.
