(Bradenton Herald Today) Instead of staging a costly second trial on the remaining counts, the government should begin deportation proceedings immediately. Al-Arian is a legal resident but not a citizen of the United States. New federal law makes associating with a terrorist group a deportable offense. This country has no place for zealots who train and equip suicide bombers. Let Al-Arian take his "pride" for such despicable actions to a country that shares his philosophy.
