(Pew Research Center) Far more Americans continue to say they sympathize with Israel rather than the Palestinians (by 48% to 11%), according to a poll conducted May 25-30. 50% say President Obama is striking the right balance in the Middle East, while 21% say he favored the Palestinians too much and 6% say he favored Israel too much.
