[AP/Toronto Star] Six-year-old Lydia Abu Eitta, a first-grader, was getting a ride to school when masked gunmen stopped her car. She ducked and the assailants riddled the car with gunfire, killing her three young cousins in an assassination attempt apparently aimed at the boys' father, an intelligence officer and Fatah loyalist who helped lead a crackdown on Hamas a decade ago. She saw about a dozen gunmen with green uniforms and black masks.
