(Reuters) Nidal al-Mughrabi - Palestinian gunmen fired a rocket into Israel on Thursday in the first such incident since January, when Mahmoud Abbas took power and persuaded militants to accept a ceasefire. There were no reports of casualties from the rocket - launched from northern Gaza into Israel. "There is an intolerable gap between what the Palestinian Authority is saying and what is happening on the ground," Israeli Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz said. "This is a very serious event and Israel will not accept it."
