(Yediot Ahronot-Ynet) Ali Waked - Egypt's new ambassador to Israel, Muhammed Assem Ibrahim, arrived in Tel Aviv Thursday. The former ambassador, Mohammed Bassiouni, was recalled to Cairo in late 2000 at the start of the intifada. Assem, 60, is a career diplomat who has held posts in Egyptian embassies in Kenya, Ethiopia, and Sudan.
