In Gaza, Defiantly Awaiting Israeli Retaliation

(New York Times) Ian Fisher - To many Israelis, Gaza should be quiet now: Israel withdrew the last of its troops and settlers last September. Yet, in recent months, hundreds of Kassam rockets have been fired from Gaza at civilians in pre-1967 Israel. For Palestinians, the issues are different: Israel's leaving Gaza did not mean an end to the struggle.
